A focused desktop workflow for authorized creators
HTP LIVE is designed for users who already have access to the LIVE features they intend to use and want a desktop interface to connect their account, manage local workflow state, and coordinate with OBS Studio.
Minimal permissions
The current TikTok integration is limited to user.info.basic, which is used for basic account identity such as display name and avatar.
Desktop workflow
The software manages supported local LIVE workflow functions and OBS-related controls separately from the TikTok account authorization permission.
How authorization works
User consent comes first
User chooses Connect Account
The desktop application starts the authorization flow only after the user requests it.
Authorization happens with TikTok
The user signs in and reviews the requested permission on TikTok's authorization interface.
The app receives permitted basic data
After consent, only the data allowed by the approved scope is used to identify the connected account inside the application.
