This Privacy Policy explains how HTP LIVE processes information when you use the desktop application, website, authentication services and related features.
1. Information We May Process
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the Service may process:
- Basic TikTok account information: information made available through TikTok Login Kit and the approved user.info.basic scope, such as a user identifier, display name and avatar.
- Authentication information: OAuth authorization data and access or refresh tokens where required to establish or maintain an authorized account connection. We do not ask you to provide your TikTok password to HTP.
- License and device information: license status and a device identifier or device hash used to validate software licensing and reduce unauthorized license sharing.
- Technical information: application version, diagnostic, error and connection information reasonably necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service.
- Support information: information you voluntarily provide when you contact us.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only for legitimate Service purposes, including authenticating authorized connections, identifying the connected account inside the software, providing requested desktop functionality, validating licenses, maintaining security, diagnosing issues, responding to support requests and complying with applicable legal obligations.
3. TikTok Authorization and Permissions
The Service initiates TikTok authorization only after the user chooses to connect an account. The user reviews the permission request and grants consent through TikTok. The current public integration described on this website is limited to TikTok Login Kit with the baseline user.info.basic permission.
We do not use TikTok account information for unrelated advertising, data brokerage or sale. We do not represent that HTP grants LIVE eligibility or controls TikTok account eligibility.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted or disclosed only as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, including interaction with TikTok for authorization and API functionality, infrastructure or hosting providers acting on our behalf, security or support providers, or where disclosure is required by applicable law or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining security and license records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Authentication credentials or tokens should be invalidated, deleted or allowed to expire when no longer required for the authorized connection.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information that we control. You may disconnect your account through the application where available and may revoke third-party authorization through the relevant account settings.

8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children who are not legally permitted to use the Service or the connected third-party platform under applicable law. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable requirements.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with third-party services, including TikTok and OBS Studio. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. HTP LIVE is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by TikTok or ByteDance.
10. International Processing
Information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence where our service providers or infrastructure operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
